Texas Man Dies after Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

A Texas man has died as the result of injuries suffered after being hit by a truck in McDonald’s parking lot. The accident occurred in the parking lot in Marshall, Texas, on Monday, November 11. According to police, the pedestrian was struck by a Ford F250 truck while walking across the parking lot.

The pedestrian, a 65-year-old man from Marshall, suffered major head trauma and was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall. Later, he was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. The man later died from his injuries.

The accident occurred at the McDonald’s on Victory Drive at about 8:39 a.m. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. So far, the driver has not been cited and police are still investigating the accident. The police had closed off the parking lot for a time so they could review the scene of the crash.
