While driving the wrong way down the Katy Freeway in the early morning hours of October 15, 26-year-old Brittini Kressin hit the back end of the driver’s side of a Toyota Corolla. This all occurred around the 5600 block of the Katy Freeway close to downtown Houston shortly after midnight. A 20-year-old female passenger was sent to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where she was sadly pronounced dead. The drunk driver, Brittini Kressin, was sent to the hospital as well, but only for minor injuries. She was observed by the Houston Police Department to have been intoxicated and was then taken into custody. She has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
