Twere two separate accidents on the northwest and southwest sides of Houston that resulted in the deaths of two drivers. The first fatality happened on Bellaire Boulevard when the driver was speeding and lost control of his vehicle, a white Lexus SC 400. The car went off the road hitting a wooden utility pole. This actually split the car and the pole, and the driver’s body was thrown from the car. Later identified as Hui Nguyen, authorities will perform an autopsy to see if he was impaired at all.

The second accident happened almost exactly 3 hours later when a silver Infiniti G35, driven by a 19-year-old female, stalled out and was rear-ended by a black Dodge Charger. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Charger has not been charged with any crime after a mandatory blood test.
